The buildings include a high welfare Beef Unit in state-of-the-art agricultural buildings that provide an opportunity for the college to carry out trials within the beef industry. The teaching facility, separate from the beef sheds, enables students to access the data being captured and apply it as required to their learning. The buildings include a Calf House with an asymmetric section that has inspired the form of the associated classroom building. From here, calf move to the Grower Building where up to 70 calves are matured, before proceeding to the refurbished High Welfare Unit.
